DJ Russ Harris Breaks Top 5 and EsNtion cheers Tyra Banks!
DJ Russ Harris just went #5 on this week's BILLBOARD Club Play Chart. His song, DRUMS IN THE CLUB has been a much bigger hit than anyone anticipated but we are all enjoying it. His new album will be out this summer and features guest performances by Danielle Bollinger, Adam Barta, Bam Bam Buddha, DJ Keri and many more.
Frankely's music video for COMO LOCO features a performance by JASLENE who is one of the remaining contestants on Tyra Banks' show, AMERICA'S TOP MODEL. Thanks to this, Frankely's album is going through a resurgance and the video will be featured in May on Royal Caribbean Cruise lines as well as in 5/7/9 and other shops in Puerto Rico and beyond. Make sure to cheer on Jaslene in each and every episode.
Tricky Bizzniss' new single, C'Mon C'Mon, has been getting rave reviews and just jumped from #37 to #30 on the BILLBOARD Club Play Charts. Look for a lot of radio action on this song as it develops.
DJ Papito Red's smash hit, SHAKE IT, has been selected to be part of an I-Tunes (Japan) promotion in May. His full album will be out in Taiwan later this summer and we are fielding calls every day from people who discover this gem. His mix of pop melodies, reggaeton beats and his ability to switch from Spanish to English within each song have been getting him lots of love. And he deserves it.
Lastly, some of you may have noticed the more stripped down email format this time. It seems that a lot of people are downloading our blasts directly to their Blackberry's and similar devices. Certainly we can understand their desire to get the latest EsNtion news as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the images and so on turn into so much gobbledygook when that happens. So, until we figure out a way not to drive people who are trying to support us insane, we will use the 'easy to read' method for a while.
