Chicago Pride Parade Wrap Up
A Pride review from Brian Shades.
Kirk and Brian Shades | Kiss the sky! Date: Jun 25, 2007
(orignally published on MySpace) Hey guys, Brian here. Well once again another Pride weekend in Chicago has come and gone. And this year once, again I must say.it was AMAZING! TOTALLY SICK! Starting at the parties from Saturday, then the rest of the weekend felt like a blur! I am just glad I got to see the HUGE Jewel Cart. It was the highlight of my weekend. Well that and seeing my hero Capt. Crunch fight for equality.
I volunteered for Fusion Radio Chicago for the parade. You may or may not have seen me on top of the float dancing with Singing Sensation Danielle Bollinger, a top Billboard Magazine dance recording artist. She was there belting out her hits like Kiss the Sky directly from the parade. If you wanna hear it, go to her myspace profile at : http://www.myspace.com/artistdaniellebollinger. She said she was lonely up there by herself and kept asking me to join her up top. PLUS I also wanted to make she didnt fall. Dancing up there for a few hours with all the stop and go, is a lot harder then it looks! But it was fun!
A Pride review from Danielle Bollinger.
Chicago pride was awesome! I met so many cool people and interesting people. It was definately a great time, and Fusion Radio Chicago was so good to me and my dancers. We had the best time!.....
EsNtion would like to thank Fusion Radio Chicago, BOI Magazine, The Chicago Parade Committee, The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, The Staff at The Cell Block (get our president, Bill, drunk and he will explain why) and all the people who worked so hard behind the scenes to make this years' parade a success.
We also want to thank the nice people at BlackBerry who, after talking to Bill, agreed to act as though he knew nothing and walked him through the email possibilities and limitations on their product. If you want to see the pictures that go with today's email, just click on THIS LINK and enjoy.
If you want to see pictures of this year's parade (not taken by Bill), CLICK HERE.
